White Spruce Candles are made with a
Coconut 83 Luxury Wax.
*This wax is made from predominately coconut and palm waxes, and a minuscule amount of FDA food grade paraffin for body and stability.

White Spruce Candles are made with flat braided cotton wicks with paper threads woven into the cotton. A candle wick works by capillary action, conveying the fuel to the flame. When the liquid fuel, typically melted candle wax, reaches the flame it vaporizes and combusts. The candle wick influences how the candle burns. You have to test different wicks and fragrance oil ratio to wax to get the perfect burning candle.

Here at White Spruce Candles we choose each scent/fragrance oil meticulously and carefully. The fragrance oils are high quality and phthalate free. I test each and every scent to make sure it passes my personal candle requirements before it is added to the lineup. If there is a scent you would like to see, let me know!

Asher's Melts are named after our dog, Asher. She is a cocker spaniel who loves to snuggle, go on car rides and play with her toys. She also loves to bother her sister, Lady who we adopted in 2023 and these two make the best of friends!
When you purchase Asher’s Melts, 10% is donated to Great River Rescue, Bemidji’s local animal shelter! In 2024 we were able to donate $200! Thank you for helping all of the dogs and cats settle in while waiting for their Furever Home!

When do you ship?
If your order is placed Monday through Wednesday, I will ship next day. If your order is placed Thursday-Sunday I will ship on Monday. Local Delivery will be arranged within a day of receiving your order.

At this time, we are only shipping within the USA.

If you are local, you will be able to choose free local delivery at checkout. The free shipping zip codes include: Bemidji, Blackduck, Hines, Laporte, Solway, Shevlin and Bagley. If you live outside these areas, but still frequent Bemidji often, contact me and I will help you out!

How long will my candle last?
With proper candle care, your new candle should last anywhere from 25-100 hours depending upon the size you have purchased.

How long do Asher's Melts last?
Asher's Melts are strong scented wax melts. How long they last depends upon how many you use, how long you use them, how big or small your warmer is and the wattage of the bulb. Only use the recommended bulb with your warmer! We do pride ourselves on strong scented & long lasting wax melts! If you would like a suggestion on a wax warmer, please message me and I will share my favorites!
Why has my candle turned yellow?
Candles with high vanillin content can discolor over time. Vanillin is one of the components that contribute to the aroma of vanilla. Rest assured it will still burn the same and smell amazing. Keep your candles out of direct sunlight. If you have a "candle stash" keep them in a cool dark place.
